It's done! Needless to say that you should see it in real life - even if I took more than 100 photos of it and chose the very best one in the end, you can only get an idea about the original artwork.
Just to avoid any questions: Yes, this is made out of leather, namely multiple layers and pieces of 2mm and 4 mm vegetable tanned leather. The pieces were dyed and finished before the assembly of the single parts. You can see a picture of the assembly here:

The original artwork is 460 mm wide and 350 mm high.

This project was going on for some months and it will be my contribution to the Belus competition on BURZUM.org.
