This project was a very special one and the result is among my best works so far, from the design to the final items. When I was contacted by the girlfriend of the band's drummer to make bracers for the guys of Einherjer it was as much honour as challenge. This band, and especially their Aurora Borealis - Demo had a huge impact on me and is still one of the very first names when it comes to true Viking Metal.

As almost always the patterns I designed for the bracers became way too complicated to be used one-to-one but I hate to limit myself when I am in the process of creation so I prefered to implement the full scope of my artistic vision in the designs. Then, prior to the actual tooling, I just had to figure out which extent of it would be possible to execute on the leather and which elements had to be removed.

You are great!!! I've never seen a cool stuff like this!!!!
How can you dye the leather in this way??? With a brush or an airbrush? and do you apply a color in all the surface and then another color over the first one? Please if you can answer me, I'd like so much to create something with leather...
Thank you!!!

Commission for Einherjer...? Fucking cool! I'll look for those next time I go see them live.
Left bracer is great. The right one may not be my favorite work from you though. Would I tell you why? Well, I guess it'd make my comment more constructive. Here goes: I feel the helm is a bit narrow (or a bit too tall, either way), and that the "E" is drowned in its pattern (it took me some time to spot it out ; maybe that additional line was optional?).
Just giving an opinion.

Yeah, it's pretty fucking cool to work for a band that has been an inspiration over all the years. It's like giving something back...

Interesting critic on the right one. Why interesting? Because it show how taste differs. This is actually one of my own favourites, haha
